Skyway hit-and-run injures boy on bike

A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized Wednesday night after his bicycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Skyway area. The teen was riding his bike in the 6800 block of South 116th Place around 7:30 p.m. when the driver struck him from behind, said King County sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for non-life threatening injuries, Urquhart said.

Urquhart described the hit-and-run vehicle as yellow, possibly a Chevrolet El Camino driven by man in his late teens or early 20s.
