Game time: Burse should have won the league's most-improved award with her play last season. She has worked on her shooting range, is an even stronger rebounder and still has uncanny timing on blocks. The problem? A pesky shoulder injury. If she can avoid hurting her left labrum, she and the Storm will have an exciting summer.

Puppy love: Burse has a red (apricot) toy poodle named Ginger. "She can jump super high and is really, really loveable, which is a problem when she starts licking all over people," Burse said.
