'American Idol' tour to hit Everett on July 17

The castoffs and ultimate winner of the hugely popular music talent show "American Idol" are coming to town.

The top 10 performers from the show's third season hit the road for a national summer tour that stops at the Everett Events Center on July 17.

The concert will feature solo and group performances by Amy Adams, Camile Velasco, Diana DeGarmo, Fantasia Barrino (who at press time is a favorite to win the competition, which concludes Wednesday), George Huff, Jasmine Trias, Jennifer Hudson, John Stevens, Jon Peter Lewis and La Toya London.
