Questions:

1. How will you address your top three priorities for the position?
City involvement: Continue our outreach programs and take some of the council meetings out to the schools, closer to citizens' homes. Increase business: Champion a plan that complements present business and attracts some anchor tenants. Traffic: Be a watchdog on state improvements to Highway 522, and be sure the impact to businesses and citizens is as little as possible.

2. What would you bring to this position that sets you apart from other candidates?
Experience and knowledge. I served on City Council for two terms, the King County Regional Policy Committee on Transportation, Seashore Committee and on the board for North Shore Parks and Recreation Service Area. Also I am pro- business plus free enterprise.

3. In a time of strapped budgets, how could your city save money or generate more revenue?
Keep careful eye on our spending: Encourage contracting for services and continue sharing costs with some of the nearby cities. We do this now, and it has been a real cost saver.
