Bet you didn't know: In 1975, the defending state champion Braves won a 42-35 four-overtime football thriller over Garfield that was named the high-school game of the century by The Seattle Times. Twenty-one years later, Blanchet won the 1996 state baseball title in one of the most memorable games in state history, beating Selah 10-7 in 13 innings.
