Everett Recognizes Best Renovations

EVERETT - A number of historic properties, and the people who helped restore them, will be honored Sunday as part of National Historic Preservation Week.

This year's William F. Brown Awards will be presented by the Everett Historical Commission between 10 a.m. and noon in the Monte Cristo Ballroom, 1507 Wall St. .

Honored for home renovations are:

Theresa McGovern, for 715 33rd Ave.; Robert Fink and Barbara Scott, for 1722 Rucker Ave.; Michael and Lisa Greenleaf, for 620 Laurel Dr.; Jim Thompson, for 2232 Grand Ave.; Paul and Tish King, for 2413 Harrison Ave; Thomas Sherer and Susan Wilson, for 2319 Colby Ave.; and Ross and Harriet Winde, for 2107 Rucker Ave.

Honorees for other renovations and restorations:

The Everett School Board and Dykeman Architects, for Everett High School; City of Everett, for Clark Park Bandstand; Everett YMCA, for the Y at 2270 Rockefeller Ave.; and the Community Housing Improvement Program.
