Christmas Tree Farms Offer Holiday Fun For The Entire Family

Want to cut your own Christmas tree? Snohomish County has a number of U-cut Christmas-tree farms that can offer a fun experience for the whole family. Many provide tractor rides to the fields, hot cider or coffee, and candy canes for the young ones.

Most Christmas-tree farms open this weekend, and tree-cutting permits for the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest are available at several ranger stations.

Arlington:

Permits to cut Christmas trees in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest are available Saturday through Dec. 17 on a first come, first served basis for $10. Anyone wanting a permit is advised to call the ranger station ahead of time to ensure availability.
