Moose Takes A Spill, Suffers Broken Ankle

The Mariner Moose, whose reckless spills on his four-wheeler or in-line skates have made him a furry legend, went too far yesterday.

Trailing on his in-line skates behind the four-wheeler in the fifth inning, he crashed into the left-field wall and fractured his right ankle.

X-rays taken at Harborview Medical Center confirmed the break.

He is out for the season. No word from the Mariners on a replacement Moose.
