Sonics Trade Houston, Marciulionis To Kings

The Seattle SuperSonics today traded Sarunas Marciulionis and Byron Houston to Sacramento for forward-center Frank Brickowski.

Brickowski, 36, is a 6-foot-9, 248-pound, 10-year veteran who played for the Sonics for two seasons, 1984-85 and 1985-86. He did not play last season because of a dislocated right shoulder suffered during an exhibition game Oct. 27. He underwent surgery Jan. 24.

Brickowski has averaged 10.6 points over his 10-year NBA career. He averaged 13.2 points for Milwaukee and Charlotte in 1993-94.

Marciulionis is a 6-5 shooting guard. Houston is a 6-5 forward.

Brickowski was drafted by the New York Knicks, but played three seasons in Europe before playing for Seattle.
