Sierra On-Line Acquires Green Thumb Of Colorado

BELLEVUE - Sierra On-Line Inc. said it has acquired Green Thumb Software Inc., Boulder, Colo., developer of LandDesigner Multi-Media for Gardens. Terms were not disclosed.

Sierra, a leading developer of interactive multimedia software, will begin publishing titles developed by Green Thumb immediately. In 1991, Green Thumb developed and released its first work for the home consumer and has followed with a series of landcape-design products for the professional business as well as homeowners.

Ken Williams, chairman and chief executive officer of Sierra, said the acquisition is part of its expansion into home-consumer categories, adding that his company will look at other additions.
