Tacoma Bail Bondsman, Shot Last Month, Dies From Wounds
TACOMA - A bail bondsman who was shot while attempting to serve a warrant last month died yesterday from his wounds.
William Aranda, 21, died at 3:57 a.m. at St. Joseph Hospital, where he had been since the June 15 shooting.
The shooting occurred when Aranda and a co-worker confronted a felon who had jumped bail and was sought on a drug charge. The suspect allegedly fired several times at Aranda, then fled. He later was apprehended.
