Woman Held In Three Slayings

GRESHAM, Ore. - A woman was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder and robbery in the execution-style slaying of three women during a robbery at a gas station last January.

Lori Ann Stephens, 23, of Portland was taken into custody without incident at a school-bus company where she works, Gresham police said.

Police said earlier that Tyrom Walter Thies, 20, considered armed and dangerous, was charged in an arrest warrant. His whereabouts was unknown.

The bodies of Virginia Kay Endecott, 47; Rosealie Fey-Girtz, 51; and Mary Beth Carey, 25, were discovered Jan. 17 in a storage room at the Leathers Oil Co. station, where they were employed. All three had been shot in the back of the head.
