Vote On Seattle Times Comics
Virtually every week new comic strips become available, vying for space in the nation's newspapers. The problem is, the space for a new strip often doesn't exist. So the question becomes, what does the newspaper drop to make room?
To make way for new comics in coming months, Seattle Times readers can vote through midnight Friday, using our InfoLine, on which of four strips would be likely candidates for cancellation: "Baby Blues," "Betty," "Crankshaft" or "The Duplex."
From a touch-tone phone, dial InfoLine at 464-2000. Then, to vote to drop "Baby Blues," punch in 1250. To vote to drop "Betty," punch in 1260. To vote to drop "Crankshaft," punch in 1270. To vote to drop "The Duplex," punch in 1280. A voice will verify your vote.
Again, the deadline is midnight Friday. InfoLine is a free, 24-hour service in the Seattle calling area.
