Ore. Police Seek Help In Woman's Disappearance

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office hopes the public will help solve the case of a 41-year-old woman who disappeared from an Oregon motel in July 1991. She is presumed to be a victim of foul play, and Crime Stoppers in Oregon is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Cheryl Laverne Grose, whose maiden name was Carr, is originally from the Lake Stevens area. She is the mother of five children, including three under the age of 3, and has no known means of financial support.

The last person to see Grose was her husband, Tom. She vanished from the Shilo Inn in Tigard, Ore. The Grose family most recently lived in the Beaverton-Aloha area of Oregon, and formerly lived near Tenino, Thurston County.

She is described as 5 feet 3, 135 pounds, with brown eyes and shoulder-length black hair.
