Patrick Swayze's Brother Fined In Parachuting Stunt

LOS ANGELES - A younger brother of actor Patrick Swayze was fined $300 for parachuting from a 32-story downtown office tower.

Donald Swayze, 34, of suburban Reseda, also was placed on two years' unsupervised probation during Wednesday's brief Municipal Court appearance, said Deputy City Attorney John Wilson.

Swayze, who pleaded no contest to trespassing, faced up to six months in jail and a $500 fine.

Prosecutors said Swayze was one of four men who jumped from the roof of the Transamerica Building on July 17.

Swayze was identified Sept. 9 by a Transamerica security guard who recognized him after watching an "Entertainment Tonight" report on the siblings of celebrities. Swayze's three companions have not been identified.
