Artists Invited To Show Their `Au Naturel' Works
ISSAQUAH
Fraternity Snoqualmie is looking for Northwest artists who want to display their nude artwork - and get nude themselves - at its fifth annual Art Show Au Naturel at its family nudist park near Issaquah.
Board member Chuck Hutchins said the artists can display, sell and demonstrate their artwork during the 16th Annual National Nude Weekend on July 13 and 14. The purpose of the weekend is to give people who are interested in nudity to find out what family nudity is like. The park has been in business since 1931, making it the oldest nudist park in the Northwest.
The art show will allow artists who don't normally display their figures to do so, Hutchins said, "and the artists and their families don't have to remove their clothing but it is also an opportunity of a lifetime."
Applications for the show can be obtained by writing to Fraternity Snoqualmie, P.O. Box 748, Issaquah, 98027.
