135 years for attack

PORTLAND

A judge yesterday sentenced a convicted murderer to 135 more years in prison for a 1987 sexual attack on a Portland girl.

Darren Dee O'Neall already is serving a nearly 28-year term in Washington state for the 1987 killing of a Pierce County woman.

He was sentenced yesterday by Multnomah County Circuit Judge Kimberly C. Frankel for a January 1987 attack on a 14-year-old girl.

Frankel ordered that O'Neall begin serving the Oregon sentence immediately upon completion of the Washington sentence.

A jury convicted O'Neall in May of 12 crimes, including kidnapping, rape and sodomy in the attack on the girl.
