Initiative Measure 920
This measure would repeal Washington's state laws imposing a tax, currently dedicated for the Education Legacy trust fund, on transfers of estates of persons dying on or after the effective date of this measure.
Initiative Measure 933
This measure would require compensation when government regulation damages the use or value of private property, would forbid regulations that prohibit existing legal uses of private property, and would provide exceptions or payments.
Initiative Measure 937
This measure would require certain electric utilities with 25,000 or more customers to meet certain targets for energy conservation and use of renewable energy resources, as defined, including energy credits, or pay penalties.
House Joint Resolution 4223
The Legislature has proposed a constitutional amendment on increasing an exemption from the personal-property tax. This amendment would authorize the Legislature to increase the personal-property tax exemption for taxable personal property owned by each "head of a family" from $3,000 to $15,000.

Snohomish County Charter Review
Proposition 1, Salary Commission
This would establish an independent salary commission to fix the compensation of Snohomish County elected officials, subject to a referendum by the people.
Proposition 2, Biennial Budgeting
This would give the County Council the discretion to budget either annually or biennially in accordance with state law.
Proposition 3, County Executive Veto
This would authorize the county executive to veto individual sections of an ordinance while approving the remainder of the ordinance.
Proposition 4, County Council Rules of Procedure
This would require the County Council to enact rules of procedure providing for public access to agendas, minutes and voting records of individual council members and opportunities for public comment during council meetings.
Proposition 5, Elections Provisions
This would clarify and amend certain election provisions in the Snohomish County Charter to ensure consistency and compliance with recent changes in state law.
Proposition 6, Performance Auditor
This would repeal a section providing for the powers and duties of the county auditor, including performance auditing, and adopt a new section requiring the County Council to establish an independent office of county performance auditor in the legislative branch as described therein, with the performance auditor to be appointed by the County Council for a four-year term.

Proposition 1, Restoring Property Tax Levy
This would authorize the district to restore and maintain its regular property-tax levy of $1.35 per $1,000 of assessed valuation.
Fire District 7
Proposition 1, Authorizing Regular Property Tax Levy
This would authorize the district to set and maintain a regular property-tax levy of $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed valuation.

This would raise an additional $0.30 per $1,000 of assessed valuation to fund fire protection and emergency medical services and permanently increase the property-tax levy rate to an amount not to exceed $1.15 per $1,000 of assessed valuation.

Proposition 1, One-Year Excess Levy for Supply and Replacement of Police Equipment and Vehicles
This would authorize the city to levy excess property taxes at an estimated 99 cents per $1,000 of assessed valuation to pay for an additional police officer and to replace police equipment and vehicles.
