Largent's son, 20, facing indictment

DOVER, Del. — Kramer Largent, 20, the son of Seahawks Hall of Famer Steve Largent, was indicted July 3 by a Kent County grand jury on four felony counts of sexual solicitation of a child under 16.

The indictment said the alleged solicitation occurred between Sept. 18 and Oct. 2, 2005. Additional details were not available.

Officials have issued a warrant for Largent, who is expected to travel to Delaware within the next two weeks to answer the charges.

"He's going to turn himself in voluntarily," deputy attorney general Robert O'Neill Jr. said. "He's been cooperative."

Largent became more known to the public than his three siblings because he was born with spina bifida, a congenital defect that leaves the spinal cord exposed. This past season, he was a volunteer assistant trainer with the Seahawks.

He attended Seattle Pacific University for one year, where he was a member of the rowing team, but said he was transferring to another school where he could study to become an athletic trainer.

Efforts to reach the Largent family weren't immediately successful Friday.
