Adidas signs Morrison to endorsement contract

PORTLAND, Ore. – Adidas said Tuesday it has signed expected NBA draft choice Adam Morrison of Gonzaga to a multiyear endorsement contract.

Terms were not disclosed.

As a junior at Gonzaga, Morrison led all NCAA Division I players in scoring with 28.1 points per game while setting a school single-season record for total points with 926.

Morrison finished his junior season and career at Gonzaga with 1,867 points, 485 rebounds and 190 assists during 95 games.

Morrison earned unanimous first team All-American honors and was the West Coast Conference Player of the Year. He finished second in the voting for the Wooden Award and was a Top Four finalist for the Naismith Award.

Marytn Brewer, vice president of sports marketing for Adidas America, said Morrison "has shown a love and desire for the game of basketball that truly sets him apart from others."
