AUBURN — Evergreen's Jose Jimenez pitched three innings of no-hit ball to lead the King Division to a 10-3 victory over the Pierce Division in the Seamount League senior all-star baseball game yesterday at Green River Community College.

Jimenez, the King Division co-player of the year, struck out six in his abbreviated stint, and also went 1 for 3 and scored a run while heading the league's list of 11 nominees for the June 12-13 state all-star series in East Wenatchee.

Shortstop Josh Olson of Mount Rainier went 2 for 3 and drilled a bases-loaded double to cap the King's five-run third inning. Catcher Aaron Snowden of Lindbergh and outfielder Kile Howard of Tyee each had two hits and two runs scored. They joined Jimenez and Olson on the list of Seamount nominees, which was drawn from performance in the regular season, the league playoffs and yesterday's all-star game.

Highline outfielder Marques Faulkner, the King Division co-player of the year, and Peninsula pitcher Matt Brentin, the Pierce Division player of the year, were also nominated along with catcher Josh Hasbrook of Peninsula, pitcher Joey Hagan of Hazen, and outfielders A.J. Huttenlocker and Bo Hubbard of White River and Eddie Reeves of Peninsula.

Dustin Harrison of Highline followed Jimenez to the mound and carried the combined no-hitter into the fifth inning before Hubbard broke it up with an infield single. That hit, following a pair of walks, loaded the bases for Reeves, who laced a two-out double to the gap in right-center field to clear the bases.
