Washington State Mineral Council: www.mineralcouncil.org. The council represents more than 25 rock and mineral collecting clubs around the state. It includes information on clubs in Bellevue, Issaquah, Seattle, Puyallup, Everett and Federal Way. Some clubs organize collection field trips and many offer junior programs for children.
