Bet you didn't know: The Bear Creek School was founded by Nancy Price, the current principal, in 1987. Price educated two students in her home. When she was unable to locate a Christian classical liberal arts school on the Eastside, she started her own in the fall of 1998. Bear Creek's first graduating class in 2001 had seven students (five boys, two girls).
