Bet you didn't know: Ever wonder why Enumclaw and nearby White River High School have the same school colors and mascot? In the early 1950s, the Enumclaw Tigers and Buckley Mountaineers combined to form the White River Hornets. After a few years, the schools split and new Enumclaw High decide that it, too, would be the Hornets.
