Wanted by the FBI

Some examples of criminals with international connections who are wanted by the FBI:

• Eva Maria Malczewski, 33, birthplace, Poland. An Arlington, Texas, bank teller found guilty of embezzlement in 1998, she disappeared before sentencing.

• James Vincent Sullivan, 60, birthplace, Massachusetts. Alleged to have contracted the murder of his wife in Atlanta on Jan. 16, 1987, a day before a divorce settlement was to go into effect. He has dual Irish-U.S. citizenship and may be in Northern Ireland, Costa Rica or Thailand. Considered armed and dangerous.

• Ana Herminia Bonilla, 36, birthplace, El Salvador. Wanted in the shooting and beating death of her husband's lover in Lutz, Fla., in September. The FBI believes she may have fled to Central America.

• Milton Xiscatti-Michel, 35, birthplace, Paraguay. A photographer known by the sobriquet "el Artista," he is wanted for coercing children in Paraguay into appearing in sexually explicit photographs, and selling the child pornography through the Internet in the United States and elsewhere. The FBI notes that he travels frequently among Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil.

• Brigitte Hartwig, 57, birthplace, Germany. Wanted for vehicular homicide, she is alleged to have been driving while drunk in Palm Beach County, Fla., on May 8, 2000, when she was involved in an accident that killed a 9-year-old child. The FBI believes she may have returned to Germany.

• Marta Aleman, 44, birthplace, Nicaragua. She was indicted for bank fraud in 1993, based on allegations that she provided false information on a mortgage application in Miami. Believed to have fled to Nicaragua.
