Edward Albert plays Quisto on `Yellow Rose'
Q: TV Land runs a show called "Yellow Rose." I think it was a serial from back in the '70s. Sam Elliott, David Soul and Cybill Shepherd star, but there is another actor in the series who plays Quisto. Do you know what plays this part?
A: Edward Albert played Quisto Champion, one of the owners of the Yellow Rose ranch. The nighttime soap about life and love on a West Texas ranch aired on NBC-TV during the 1983-84 season. The son of veteran actor Eddie Albert, Edward starred with Goldie Hawn in "Butterflies Are Free." His later television roles include "Beauty and the Beast" and "Port Charles."
Q: I was an avid fan of the TV show "Fox After Breakfast" and I am the owner of a Laurie Hibberd autographed picture. What is she doing these days?
A: Hibberd is a correspondent on "CBS' Early Show." Look for her box- office report every Friday. After her stint on Fox, the Canadian-born broadcaster went to "Good Morning America" and "Good Morning America Sunday." Last year, she tied the knot with TV producer Michael Gelman of "Live! With Regis."
Q: We watched the "Live by Request" program with Willie Nelson last month on A&E. I wanted to order three of the videos, but failed to get the 800-number. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.
A: Order A&E videos by calling 888-708-1776 toll free.
Q: Help! Is the man who plays Eduard "Del" Delacroix in the movie "The Green Mile" the same man who plays Noodle's brother on "Sesame Street"?
A: Yes. Actor Michael Jeter is the man in question. Before "Sesame Street," he was known to many as "Evening Shade's" Herman Stiles.
Q: I am a fan of "7th Heaven's" David Gallagher and would like to know of any other projects he is working on. Also, where can I send him fan mail?
A: Between schoolwork and his role as Simon on "7th Heaven," David Gallagher, 15, doesn't have much free time. He has, however, completed another new "Spin & Marty" mystery called "Hide and Shriek" (air date to be announced.) Send fan mail in care of "7th Heaven," Warner Bros., 4000 Warner Blvd., Burbank, CA 91522. You can visit David's official web site at dgnews.net.
Q: Hooray! We're on satellite. Boo, hiss! I've searched everywhere and can't find "Miami Vice" which I had so looked forward to seeing. Any suggestions? - L.H., Sun City, Ariz.
A: Wait a few more months. It looks like "Miami Vice" reruns return to American TV in 2001, probably on TV Land. British TV viewers got "Miami Vice" this summer.
Q: Is the woman who appears in "Mystery!: An Unsuitable Job for a Woman" the same one who played Ross' second wife on "Friends"?
A: Helen Baxendale, an award-winning British actress, got double exposure as Cordelia Gray on "Unsuitable Job for a Woman" and as Emily on "Friends."
