All-league selections are an indication of how good KingCo 4A baseball is.

Consider Inglemoor senior second baseman Adam Pritchett. He batted .414, hit seven doubles and drove in a league-high 28 runs. In perhaps any other conference in the state, he would have been first-team all-league. In KingCo 4A, Pritchett was named to the second team behind Juanita's Mike McRae, who hit .453 with nine home runs and 14 extra-base hits.

Of the 11 position players named first-team, nine batted .400 or better in the regular season, led by Eastlake's Steve Ramsey (.517).

Lake Washington's Josh Conover led the league with six triples and was named first-team at third base.

Redmond left-hander Andy Sisco and Woodinville right-hander Bret Butler were named first-team pitchers. Butler was 7-1 with a 2.48 ERA, and his strikeout-to-walk ratio was almost 4:1, 38 strikeouts to 10 walks.
