Man who robbed Glenn Robinson gets 44 years

MILWAUKEE - A man convicted of robbing Milwaukee Buck star Glenn Robinson last fall has been sentenced to 44 years in prison.

Lisimba M. Love, one of two men who robbed Robinson at gunpoint of jewelry and valuables worth about $40,000, was sentenced by Judge Bonnie L. Gordon.

Love, 27, was sentenced as a habitual criminal. He was found guilty of the charge after a trial in January for the Sept. 28 holdup outside a Milwaukee bar.

The robbers took Robinson's cash, Rolex watch, and assorted jewelry.

Effrim Moss, 28, of Milwaukee was charged with being a party to armed robbery in the holdup of Robinson A jury deadlocked on convicting Moss after about 10 hours of deliberations.
