KBKS-FM morning hosts off the air

KBKS-FM (106.1) morning radio hosts Chris Collins and Dana Dearden are off the air.

KBKS general manager Lisa Decker would only say that the team and the station's decision to part ways was mutual. "Chris has been looking to get out for the last six months or so," she said.

The duo went off the air earlier this month with little fanfare. The Chris and Dana Web site, www.chrisanddana.com, now leads directly to the Kiss 106 home page. "We really haven't gotten a lot of calls, to be honest," Decker said.

Decker said midday host Corey Dylan will hold the all-important morning drive-time spot until a new team is found. "We're just going to bring in a whole new show," she said.
