Private Schools

Unlike public schools, private schools in our area don't all use one standardized test to measure how their students are doing, And unlike public schools, which must disclose their test scores and explain them to their constituents, many private schools only release the scores to parents or prospective enrollees. That makes it difficult to draw direct comparisons between all public and private schools. (You'll find some private school test scores in the 1999 Seattle Times School Guide.) The following charts offer and overview of some fo the statistics we've collected for private schools.
