Thrustmaster Changes Name, Sells Game-Controller Business

SEATTLE - ThrustMaster, a Hillsboro, Ore.-based company that develops software products for instant voice and text messaging over the Internet, said shareholders had approved the company's name change to CenterSpan Communications.

The company also announced it will sell its game-controller hardware business to Guillemot for $15 million in cash.

The company now plans to focus on its Internet software.
