NFL -- Daughter Shows Dillon What Is Most Important
CINCINNATI - Corey Dillon has a new daughter and the leader of the Bengals ground game has a new attitude about life.
The Feb. 15 birth of his daughter, Cameron, has given Dillon a different perspective on what is important in life.
"It's the most beautiful experience I've dealt with," he said. "It's mellowed me completely. You look at her, and you feel you're on top of the world."
Dillon missed the workouts after the April mini-camp because he wanted to be with his daughter in Seattle. His girlfriend, Desiree Antoine, was taking classes at the University of Washington.
"I had to watch my daughter during the day while she went to school," Dillon said. "That was my responsibility. I realize my job is important, but sometimes some things are more important."

Susan Gutweiler, 47, was killed Oct. 19 in downtown St. Louis when Little's sports utility vehicle ran a red light and broadsided her car.
-- Michael Irvin denied that he has demanded a contract extension or is unhappy with his role in the Dallas Cowboys' offense.
"You guys don't know what you're talking about. You're always wrong when it comes to me," Irvin told reporters.
-- Hicham El-Mashtoub, a free-agent lineman waived by Cleveland in April, filed suit against the Browns, alleging he was cut because he is of Arabic descent. El-Mashtoub, 27, filed a suit in Cuyahoga County (Ohio) Common Pleas Court claiming Browns officials made, or were present when disparaging remarks were made, to El-Mashtoub. He is seeking at least $25,000 in damages.
He played for Arizona in college and has appeared in four games for the Tennessee Oilers and Kansas City Chiefs since 1995. He signed with the Browns on Jan. 8 and was released April 27.

-- Professional Hall-of-Famer Jim Brown was arrested and briefly jailed for making a "terrorist threat" against his wife, police in Los Angeles said.
Brown, 63, a star running back for the Cleveland Browns in the 1960s, was arrested after officers responded to a domestic violence call at his home, a police spokesman said.
The spokesman said the officers interviewed Brown's wife, Monique, 25, and took him into custody based on her information. The spokesman said he had no information on the nature of the threats.
Brown was taken to jail and charged with making a "terrorist threat." He posted his $50,000 bail "immediately" and was released, the spokesman said.
