Eastside's Christenson Metro Mvp
Deryck Christenson of Eastside Catholic, who batted .661 for the Metro League champions and posted a 7-1 pitching record, has been selected the league's most valuable player.
Tauno Latvala of Hale has been voted coach of the year by his peers. Hale (13-7-1) won the Sound Division and enjoyed one of its most successful seasons since winning its only league title in 1971.
