Enumclaw Crash Victims Identified

ENUMCLAW - Two Enumclaw teenagers who were killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash near here have been identified as Vincent J. Barnett and Loren Orsi, both 18, according to the King County Medical Examiner's Office.

Barnett, who was driving an El Camino, and Orsi, his passenger, were killed in the collision just before 10 p.m. at Southeast 424th Street and 244th Avenue Southeast, King County sheriff's deputies reported.

The driver of the second vehicle, Kelly Wetton, 34, of Enumclaw, was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Harborview spokesman Larry Zalin said Wetton suffered a head injury. He was in serious condition today in the hospital's intensive-care unit.

According to sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart, witnesses reported the second car, a late-model Camaro, traveling at high speed and erratically as it went through a stop sign and was struck by the El Camino. Barnett and Orsi died at the scene, police said.

The two teens reportedly were students at the White River School District's Collins (Alternative) High School in Buckley, which serves the Enumclaw, White River and Sumner areas.
