Mail-label giant Avery Dennison capitalizes on the problem with this superbly simple software package - complete with some sample Avery sticker labels for everything from postcards to CD-ROM jewel cases, from name badges to business cards. The sticker labels are arranged in rows on standard letter-size sheets and are removed one by one after printing and affixed by hand to the envelope or other item.

A selection of clip art lets users dress up labels, or one can import images in most popular formats and size them using the software. Likewise, the software will use any fonts on your machine and automatically size each address or label information to fit the space available on whichever Avery stock one is using.

A major added attraction is a built-in mailing list database that lets one keep track of hundreds - or just a handful - of people and quickly churn out mailing labels. The software also will import data from most popular Windows database programs.

Preview modules let a user see a picture of the output on the monitor screen before printing.
