Hats Off -- People In The News

Six Kent teachers recently received awards of excellence from the Kent Chamber of Commerce's Education Committee for their role for preparing students to enter the work force. As part of the Hubert Research survey, Kent graduates were asked, "Which teacher do you feel best prepared you to enter the work force and why?" The six teachers most often named by the graduates were: -- Debbie Roberts, marketing, Kentridge High School -- Karen Verner, social studies, Kentlake High School -- Marty Osborne, business education, Kentridge High School -- Steve Richardson, former social-studies teacher, Kentwood High School -- Bob Sandall, business education, Kentlake High School -- Phil Isernio, marketing education, Kentlake High School
