New Lakeside School Head Named

SEATTLE - An administrator from the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., has been appointed head of Lakeside School, a college-preparatory school in North Seattle.

Bernard Noe, assistant head of the school for international education and principal of the upper school at Sidwell Friends, will replace Terry Macaluso in July. Macaluso is in her seventh and final year at Lakeside, said Marianne Picha, school spokeswoman.

President Clinton's daughter, Chelsea, who graduated in 1997, and Albert Gore III, son of the vice president, have attended Sidwell Friends.

Noe was selected from a pool of 70 candidates.
