Wenatchee Killer Sentenced
WENATCHEE - A teenager who admitted bludgeoning a woman in her home, then cutting her with a knife, was sentenced to nearly 45 years in prison yesterday.
Brock Adam Zerr, 19, of Wenatchee, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the Sept. 4 slaying of Charleen Fulbright, 42, during an attempted burglary of her home.
Investigators said Zerr broke into the house, bludgeoned Fulbright with a fireplace poker, then severed the arteries on the back of her legs with a knife, causing her to bleed to death.
