Saturday Shooting Claims Second Victim

SEATTLE - The second of two men shot outside a Denny's restaurant near Seattle Center on Saturday night also has died of his injuries.

Robert Trevino, 34, of Seattle died at 2:40 p.m. yesterday at Harborview Medical Center. Orozco Cortez, 21, of Michoacan state in Mexico, died Sunday.

The shooting, believed by police to be drug-related, occurred just after 10 p.m. Saturday. At least five shots were fired in the parking lot next to the restaurant, on Aurora Avenue North two blocks north of Denny Way, said Seattle police spokeswoman Christie-Lynne Bonner.

When police arrived, they found Trevino lying injured inside a van and Cortez on the ground across the parking lot.

Police questioned a witness who was on the roof of a building, and they are looking for a man seen running from the lot.
