Seattle Sounders Vs. San Francisco Seals
When: Today, 7:05 p.m. Where: Seattle Memorial Stadium. Records: Sounders are 4-4; Seals are 5-8. Notes: Forward Erik Storkson leads Seattle in points (nine) and goals (four). . . . His strong showing, coupled with forward Mark Baena's fine Seattle debut Saturday (one goal, one assist), prompted the release yesterday of Kevin Lamey. The Jamaican forward, part of the Reggae Boyz trio, scored a goal 29 minutes into his Sounder career but had become unproductive lately. . . . Newly signed midfielder Randy Mann, who scored the winning goal against Seattle on April 19 while a member of the California Jaguars, is expected to make his first appearance for the Sounders tonight. . . . Bill May, former University of Washington goalkeeper who was the Sounders' third-round draft choice this year, returns to Seattle as a member of the Seals. May opted to sign with San Francisco rather than back up Sounder Dusty Hudock. . . . Another Seal to keep an eye on is forward Ryshiem Henderson, who scored all three goals in San Francisco's 3-2 overtime victory at Vancouver on Sunday. . . . A local radio station (KBKS, 106.1 FM) has teamed with the Sounders to try to set a world record for the "world's largest Riverdance" tonight at halftime. Performers from "Riverdance" will take part, and representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records will
observe.
