Hooker Overcomes Wind To Win Drake Relays 100
Washington's Ja'Warren Hooker was slowed by the wind in Des Moines, Iowa, yesterday but the freshman won the 100 at the Drake Relays, while Washington's Aretha Hill won the discus with a throw of 193 feet, 10 inches.

For Hooker, facing the wind was nothing new.
