Knights Snap Seadogs' Streak

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento Knights stopped the Seattle SeaDogs' win streak at seven and extended their own streak to seven with a 5-3 victory last night in a Continental Indoor Soccer League match.

The SeaDogs (7-1) and Knights (7-1) are tied for first in the Western Division.

"It was a close game all the way," SeaDog Coach Fernando Clavijo said. "We gave a courageous effort in back-to-back games, but Sacramento played a little smarter than us tonight."

Tied 2-2 at halftime, Craig Huft and Rudy Doliscat scored third-period goals for the Knights. Jean Harbor got the SeaDogs to 4-3, then Drago scored for Sacramento.

The SeaDogs play Washington on Thursday at KeyArena. Forward John Olu Molomo (right shoulder) and midfielder Marcelo Fontana (right knee) are expected to return to the SeaDogs' lineup.
