Avalanche Kills B.C. Man

VANCOUVER, B.C. - A summer avalanche has claimed the life of a North Vancouver man on the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

The avalanche on Mount Robson near Valemount, B.C., Wednesday caught five climbers who were sleeping on the north side of the mountain. Four managed to make it to safety, but Roger Ament, 18, was killed.
