`Dr. Quinn's' Joe Lando Joins The Married Ranks

Q: I hear Joe Lando of "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" was married last month. True?

A: True. "Dr. Quinn's" Sully wed longtime girlfriend Kirsten Barlow May 24 in Scottsdale, Ariz. Co-stars Orson Bean and William Shockley were among the invited friends and family. Lando met his bride, who runs a Los Angeles coffeehouse, nine years ago when they worked together at a restaurant.

Q: I understand Joan Lunden is changing jobs in September. I am so sorry. She and Charles Gibson on "Good Morning America" start my day. I love the team. What are her plans?

A: After 17 years as host of the ABC morning show, Lunden wants to produce prime-time shows for the network, including more of her "Behind Closed Doors" specials. Her post-"GMA" projects may also include more books and videos on parenting, health and nutrition.

Q: Who played the mental patient, Harry, on the June 5 episode of "Moloney"? My husband said it was Ken Howard. I say no way.

A: It wasn't the former "White Shadow" star, but actor Gregg Henry who played patient Harry Scholls. About 20 years ago, Henry was in "Rich Man, Poor Man - Book II" as Wesley Jordache, the son of Tom Jordache.

Q: I am a big fan of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." I especially like the guy who plays Angel. Who is he and what other things has he done?

A: The role of Angel, Buffy's vampire informant, is the biggest acting job David Boreanaz has had to date. Before Buffy, he'd done an episode of "Married . . . With Children" and the movies "Best of the Best II" and "Aspen Extreme." The 27-year-old is the son of a TV weatherman and has two sisters in show business. Boreanaz returns as Angel when WB's "Buffy" begins its second season in the fall.

Q: I am a big fan of Chris Noth. Does he have any future TV or movie plans?

A: The former "Law & Order" star stays busy. He recently appeared in the one-act play "Patronage" in New York City's Ensemble Studio Theater, opposite Christopher Reeve's wife Dana. Next, he'll be on the big screen in "Cold Around the Heart," starring David Caruso and Kelly Lynch. Next month you can see him in "The Rough Riders," a TNT miniseries starring Tom Berenger as Teddy Roosevelt. Send your questions about TV to: Dallas Morning News, Communications Center, P.O.
