Northwest -- California Pro Wins Open Sectional

BLAINE - Perry Parker, a professional from Santa Ana Heights, Calif., was the medalist in Northwest sectional qualifying as three golfers from a field of 42 gained berths in the U.S. Open.

Parker shot rounds of 69 and 67 for a 136 total, 8-under-par for 36 holes on the 7,005-yard Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club course yesterday.
