UW Christian Group To Rally For Unity

SEATTLE - A student-led revival will be held at the University of Washington tomorrow to promote the unity of all Christian groups.

Ryan Beattie and Kristofer Gray, founders of a group called "Jesus is Lord," say the event may attract thousands. The rally will be at 6 p.m. in Red Square, the central plaza in front of Suzzallo Library.

More than 20 Christian groups are registered at the UW, but Gray and Beattie say the "Jesus is Lord" group has a new agenda. "(Our goal) is to become a group that isn't interested in growing and becoming a new ministry, but to serve the existing ministries," said Beattie, a senior.

Gray said that anyone interested is encouraged to attend the event, which will include singing, prayer, worship and student

testimonies.
