Electronics: Steve Hittle was promoted from engineering manager of test services to audio engineering manager for Avtech.

Biotechnology: Richard Anderson, formerly of Mosaix, was named senior vice president, chief financial officer and corporate treasurer and secretary of NeoRx.

Consulting: Gene Michaelson was named a partner in the global communications and entertainment group for Arthur Andersen. Harry Brelsford, an adjunct professor at Seattle Pacific University, was appointed network manager of CN Consulting. Christopher Bayley was named a principal with the Madison Group.

Finance: Sue Ellen Taylor was named national sales manager for Safeco Mutual Funds.

High technology: Steve Gordon was named chief financial officer and vice president of finance and operations for Visio.

Insurance: Jolie Berrier was named senior account manager and Terri Sundquist, benefits administrator, for P. Robert Brown Inc.

Law: Jeffrey King was named a lateral associate in the chemical/biotechnology practice group of Townsend and Townsend and Crew. Scott Borth and James Gradel were named partners in the commercial and real-estate finance practice of Perkins Coie. Rando Wick was named a partner for Johnson, Graffe, Keay & Moniz.

Manufacturing: Emily Bleha was named marketing manager and Rob Nelson, production manager, for Schippers & Crew. Physio-Control promoted David Shelton from vice president of North American sales to senior vice president and Brooks Simpson, from vice president of worldwide marketing and international sales to vice president of North American sales, and named Gene McLain director of sales/alternative markets, Hank Eide, director of technical service and customer operations, Rick Stewart, vice president of international sales and business development, and David Nordin, vice president of worldwide marketing and product development. John Holding was named president and chief operating officer for Base-Line.

Research: Kim Barker, formerly of the Genesis Group, was named director of mystery shopping for Service Intelligence.

Medical: Sue Charrier was appointed administrator of Swedish Medical Center's Clinical Research Center.

Real estate: Ric Brandt was named a senior associate for CB Commercial Real Estate Group. David Ray, formerly of Bank of America, was appointed managing director and chief operating officer of the Norman Co.
