Gentle Dental's Stock Price Slips On First Day Of Trading

VANCOUVER, Wash. - Shares in Gentle Dental Service were priced at $5 apiece today and were trading down 12.5 cents at $4.875 in late trading.

The initial public offering is for a Vancouver company that provides dental-practice management support services, including providing buildings, equipment, staffing and management support.

Gentle Dental, which recently changed its name from Mutual Health Systems, sold 1.5 million shares. After expenses, the company will net nearly $7 million.
