Body Found In Rv Park

BOTHELL - Police today said a 44-year-old man found dead in his trailer in a Snohomish County RV park has been identified as Steven Ver Woert.

The Snohomish County medical examiner was to conduct an autopsy today to determine the cause of death. Bothell police said Ver Woert appeared to have suffered head and body trauma.

Police were called to the Lake Pleasant RV Park, just off the Bothell-Everett Highway a few miles north of the King-Snohomish County line, about 1 p.m. yesterday. A co-worker went to Ver Woert's home when he failed to show up for work and found blood on the trailer doorstep.

Ver Woert worked on special projects for Sprint; he had lived in the trailer park for a few months.

The trailer showed no signs of a forced entry. Neighbors told police they heard a noise late Tuesday.
