Has `Tool Time' Hostess Had Her Baby, For Real?

Q: We watched the "Home Improvement" episode where "Tool Time" hostess Heidi had her baby. Has actress Debbe Dunning given birth in real life?

A: The Olympic volleyball champion and her husband, Steve Timmons, are first-time parents. Spencer Schae Timmons, a girl, was born Dec. 2.

Q: What's become of the cast of "The Dukes of Hazzard"? I know Sorrell Booke (Boss Hogg) died a while back, but what's the rest of the cast doing? How many years did the show run?

A: Most of the cast is hard at work on the series' first reunion show. John Schneider, Tom Wopat and Catherine Bach reprise their roles as cousins Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke. Others returning are Denver Pyle, James Best, Sonny Shroyer, Ben Jones and narrator Waylon Jennings, who'll have an on-camera role this time. And the souped-up Dodge Charger, the General Lee, will figure prominently in the new two-hour movie, which will air in 1997 on CBS. "The Dukes," currently in reruns on TNN, was broadcast from January 1979 through August 1985.

Q: I watched the CBS miniseries "In Cold Blood" and couldn't stop wondering where I'd seen Kevin Tighe. He played the father of the Cutter family.

A: In the first year of ABC's "Murder One," Tighe played David Blalock. In the 1970s, he was paramedic Roy DeSoto on "Emergency."

Q: Please tell me a little about Chad Lowe, the actor who was mesmerizing on TV's "Life Goes On."

A: The younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, Chad started his

acting career in 1985 with his own TV show, "Spencer." He quit after one season, but returned to series TV in 1991 playing HIV-positive high-school student Jesse McKenna in the acclaimed "Life Goes On." Most recently, he joined the cast of "Melrose Place" as Carter Gallaven. He celebrates his 29th birthday on Jan. 15.

Q: I watched the Dec. 4 "Wings" episode about Helen and Joe's crazy neighbors. I know the male neighbor used to be on "Saturday Night Live," but I can't place the female neighbor.

A: That was funnyman Chris Elliott and Kelly Coffield, a former "Fly Girl" dancer on "In Living Color."

Q: Crook and Chase have a syndicated show but we can't find it in any of our TV listings. What network carries it?

A: Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase, former hosts of country-music talk shows on TNN, host a talk show that is seen in many TV markets. But because the daily program is syndicated, you must check your local listings to determine the channel, time and availability in your area. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Send your questions about TV to: Dallas Morning News, Communications Center, P.O.
